If no shifts are selected, the scheduler can send a notification about anything. For example, “Please enter your availability and Time off Requests for next month by end of this week.”
NOTIFY ABOUT OPEN SHIFTS
If Open shifts are selected, the scheduler can choose which group of employees to notify about the Open shifts based on pre-configured business rules. As long as the employee can do at least one of the open shifts, they will be advised about the shifts. The scheduler can add an appropriate message to the notification. For example, “If you are interested in working extra shifts, please let the scheduler know by Friday". The notification will include summary shift information.

Any notification sent to employees can be viewed by them in their Team Xpress app under Notifications area. 
To view notifications, click on bell icon at top of the app screen.
