Overview

These release notes provide information on the latest features added to Celayix’s industry leading scheduling and time & attendance software.

Version

These notes are for version 8.0.6 released in May 2018. They cover the changes made since version 8.0.5 released in December 2018.

Functions and Modules

Celayix products and modules are available in many different configurations. These release notes may describe features that you have not configured nor have access to.

Reference numbers

The descriptions may include Celayix internal reference numbers E.g. ET-1234, 4567. You may refer to these if you have questions about the features and changes.

New and Updated Features

Schedule Xpress

Schedule Xpress is a new, easy to use scheduling tool. It gives schedulers 24/7/365 access to review and modify employee schedules from wherever they have access to the web. Click here for more details

eTime Xpress

ET-570 — Validate all email address form fields in eTime / ET-600 — Validate Multiple emails addresses before sending emails in eTime Xpress

Invalid email addresses were causing problems with alerting functionality. Additional validation has been implemented to ensure the correct format is being used when entering in email addresses.

ET-623 — Create a custom program for the function Create Voice Xpress Accounts which is currently in the system menu and can only be access internally

To speed up the creation of user accounts during on-boarding of new employees, the Generate Voice Xpress account features has been made available in the custom program area. Whereas in the past, this feature was only available to Celayix and in specific cases, customers now have the ability to access and run it themselves saving the user time by not having to add employees one by one. The ability to assign a security group at the point of creation is also available.

ET-638 — Apply midnight cutoff to recurring allowances in eTime

Midnight cut off will now be applied to recurring allowances if the hours distributed is set to Midnight Cut Off at the branch level

Team Xpress

TEAMXP-1037 — Self-scheduling: add filters to search screen

Based on user feedback, the filters now appear next to the dates

eTime Xpress

Two emails are no longer being sent out when there is a change notification - ET-601

Team Xpress

Users are now able to send messages in chat with iOS Mobile devices TEAMXP-1110

Previous displayed values are now immediately updated, once the user selects one of the following values ‘Cannot Work’, Un-confirm or confirm - TEAMXP-1017

Employee can no longer change the customer/site/service when adding a timesheet - TEAMXP-1018

"Schedule me" and "set preferences" buttons are no longer cut off at the bottom for Self-Scheduling when using Safari - TEAMXP-1038

A number of browser layout issues for Self-Scheduling have now been resolved - TEAMXP-1122

A number of casing issue for labels in Timesheets – My Timecards have been resolved - TEAMXP-835

The 'Set Preferences' and 'Schedule me' buttons are now present when in the Landscape orientation - TEAMXP-940

Last record of a long list of shifts for self-scheduling is no longer being cut off - TEAMXP-1065

The start date which is setup at the branch level is now reflected in the Timecards area - TEAMXP-986

The user is now able to click on Find two times or more and results will be returned - TEAMXP-1142
