Repeat Shifts

Repeat shifts allows the user to quickly create a copy of shifts or specify a recurrence pattern. For example, you can repeat a shift for a specified number of times on the same day, starting on a specified day or on specific days of the week.

Advanced Filter Operation Changed

Now when you filter the results that are shown in the schedule grid, the user needs to hit Apply for the selection to take effect. Previously the schedule would filter immediately after each selection. This could lead to slow performance.

First Load

When logging in, the page will no longer load the data automatically. This allows users to specify the info they want to see rather than having the page load first and then make the necessary changes. It also improves overall performance.

Enhancements

New Time Picker

The time picking tool used has been improved to allow easier keyboard entry of information. The changes affect the Add Shift, Edit Shift, and Bulk Shift forms. The changes include:

• AM supported format: - 2:10 AM, 210am, 210a, 2.10am, 2,10a, 210, 2.10, 2,10

• PM supported format: - 2:10 PM, 210pm, 210p, 1410, 14,10, 14:10, 2.10pm, 2,10p.

• In am/pm mode user needs to specify am or pm. This is not needed if the view is set to 24 hr time format.

• Spaces and ":" will be added automatically

• When a user deletes the contents of the field, the default shift form time will be displayed.

Schedule Layout Changes

The layouts have restrictions on the number of days that can be viewed because of performance. For example, proportional layouts can only be used for a three (3) day view of information. If a proportional layout is selected and the timeframe is greater than 3 days, the system will automatically revert to a “fit-to-day proportional view. In the future, if the number of days is 3 or less, the system will change to a proportional view automatically.

Bugs

Schedule Template parameters were blank sometimes when first loading templates after login. SCHXP-1795

Cloning a layout sometimes caused no default layout to be selected. With the fix, the original default layout remains. Users can change the default. SCHXP-2190

When a shift template was applied, the date displayed after pasting was not consistent. Now when a template is pasted, the date range being viewed will not change. Users will need to select the date range they want to view. SCHXP-902

Invalid dates could be saved when selecting how far in advance to publish the schedule. Better messaging has been added. SCHXP-2235

Copying and pasting a worked/locked shift would be possible but editing it was not possible as it would remain locked. Users can now copy these shifts and they will paste as new shifts (unlocked) and can be edited. SCHXP-2238

Filters created in eTime Xpress were not being shown in Schedule Xpress. These are now available in the filter dropdown menu (top left corner). SCHXP-2400

Schedule grid was not showing after coming back from the Reports page. The grid now renders properly. SCHXP-2466

Data entry boxes outline was darkened to make them easier to see. SCHXP-2322
