Overview

These release notes provide information on the latest features added to Celayix's industry leading scheduling and time & attendance software.
Version
These notes are for version 8.0.2 released in January 2017. They cover the changes made since version 8.0.0 released in November 2016.
Functions and Modules
Celayix products and modules are available in many different configurations. These release notes may describe features that you have not configured nor have access to.

Reference numbers
The descriptions may include Celayix internal reference numbers E.g. ET-1234, 4567. You may refer to these if you have questions about the features and changes.











New and Updated Features

Team Xpress

Team Xpress is a new employee portal and is available as an app for iOS and Android, as well as being accessible from a web browser. In this release the product includes the following modules

  • Check In/Out
  • Record Safety Checks
  • View Employee Schedules
  • Self-Scheduling
  • Recording Employee Availability
  • Time off Requests
  • Employees can be notified of changes to their shifts via SMS/Email
  • Employees can acknowledge shift changes
  • Record Timesheets
  • Chat between employees
  • Location Track

eTime Xpress

Employee SMS notification for Shift changes (ET-344)

This feature will notify Employees via SMS (if they have a cell number recorded within eTime) that there has been a change to one or more of their scheduled shifts

Autofill Rotation Scheduling service (ET-313)

Allows customers to fill shifts based on a specified rotation.

Only unique Availability records will be saved (ET-314)

In previous versions of eTime, it was possible to add an availability record with the same Date/Start Time/End Time/Customer/Site/Service/Volunteer code multiple times. This has been changed in that if a user tries to add a record that is not unique they will be presented with an error message

Update logo shown in crystal reports Et-193

This image has been added to the additional reports (crystal reports)

AAP Payroll Export (Custom-20)

A new payroll export for AAP Payroll has been created



'Getting Started' section to include a 'What's New' section (ET-334)

A 'What's New' section has been added to highlight the key features in a particular release on the main page of etime

Rename "Reports|Crystal Reports" menu item to "Reports|Additional Reports" (ET-30)


When running a Crystal Report (Additional Reports as they will now be called) the screen will open maximized as the default. (ET-30)

Voice Xpress

Prevent employees from checking out of a shift outside of defined boundary using VXP (VXP-8)

It is possible to set a minimum and maximum time for employees to check out. If the employee tries to check out outside this time they will not be allowed instead they will receive a warning message.

Corrections / Fixes / Stability Improvements

Bug Fixes

The error resulting in the message "Remote procedure execute failure. Progress.Open4GL.Exceptions.ERROR condition: The Server application has returned an error.(7243) (7211) Please try to restart. If the problem exists, contact your system administrator" which prevented users from logging in has now been resolved (ET- 199)
Handpunch Import using AppServer connect: UI Error has been resolved (ET 260)
