Overview
This document outlines how to use Web Xpress and its features. Please note that you may not have access to all of the features listed in this user guide – certain features may not have been licensed or may be restricted by your Administrator.
1. Login to Web Xpress Employee Area
To access the Web Xpress Employee Area go to https://webx.celayix.com/ and enter your Employee login credentials. Use the Employee Client ID, username and password provided to you by your Administrator.

2. Change Default Password
From the Web Xpress Main Menu, click on User Profile and select the Password tab. Your password should be changed immediately. The password should be easy for you to remember but difficult for others to guess.

Once you have successfully logged into Web Xpress, you will see the Web Xpress Main Menu similar to the sample screen below. You can access all of the features of Web Xpress from the Main Menu - your Main Menu may look different depending on the access rights given to you by your administrator.

4. Web Xpress Scheduling
Web Xpress Scheduling allows you to view and confirm your work schedule. From the Web Xpress Main Menu, click on Scheduling - your monthly schedule will be shown.

Scheduling Features:
Item | Description |
Date Period Views | Your schedule can be display in a variety of ways including Month, Week and Day. You can change your date view using the Month, Week and Day icons or by changing the date. |
Shift Views | Change shift views from the shift pull-down. |
View Schedule of Others | View schedule of others using the employee pull-down. This feature must be enabled by your administrator. |
Confirm Work Schedule | Click the Manage Shifts button. You will see a selection screen where you may specify your shift status – (confirm/unconfirm/cannot work). This feature must be enabled by your administrator. |
Self-Schedule (optional module) | Click the Self-Schedule button. You will see a selection screen search for available shifts and select shifts for self-assignment. When more than one shift selected, the system will attempt to fill all or none of your request. It is recommended that you limit each request to the smallest number of shifts as possible. |
Setting Your Schedule Preferences
From the Web Xpress Main Menu, click on User Profile and select the Preferences tab. You can set your week start date and 12/24 hour clock views.
5. Web Xpress Availability (Volunteer)
Web Xpress Availability allows you to specify your work availability. This allows your scheduler to create schedules that better fit your preferences for dates, times and assignments. From the Web Xpress Main Menu, click on Availability - the availability screen will be shown. Simply enter you availability during each 7 day period.

Item | Description |
Availability Views | Change availability views from the shift pull-down. |
View Availability of Others | View availability of other using the employee pull-down. This feature must be enabled by your administrator. |
Create Availability Records | To add a single record, click on Add Day Entry. |
Enter Availability | From the Add Availability window, specify your availability details. |
6. Web Xpress Time Sheets
Web Xpress Time Sheets allow you to enter your timesheets online. From the Web Xpress Main Menu, click on Time Sheets - the monthly view of your time sheets will be shown.

Time Sheet Features:
Item | Description |
Time Sheet Views | Change time sheet views from the shift pull-down. |
View Time Sheets of Others | View time sheets of other using the employee pull-down. You must be a supervisor and this feature must be enabled by your administrator. |
Monthly Overview | The monthly overview screen will indicate the number of time sheet records entered, scheduled shifts and total hours entered by time sheet status. |
Create Time Sheet Records | From the monthly overview screen, click on the date you want to enter a time sheet record the click Add. If you are entering times against a scheduled shift, select that shift from the shift pull-down otherwise select New Time Entry. |
7. Web Xpress Time Off Requests
Web Xpress Time Off allows you to submit your time off requests online. You can also view the status of any of your pending time off requests (i.e. approved, declined etc.). From the Web Xpress Main Menu, click on Time Off - the time off screen will be shown.

Item | Description |
Time Off Views | Change time off types and status views from the shift pull-downs. |
View Time Off of Others | View time off requests of others using the employee pull-down. This feature must be enabled by your administrator. |
Create Time Off Request | Click on New Time Off Entry and enter the type, dates and time of your time off request. |
8. Web Xpress Contact Management
Web Xpress Contact Management allows you to maintain your personal information online. From the Web Xpress Main Menu, click on User Profile > Contact Info tab – a list of fields you can update will be displayed (i.e. address information, telephone, email etc.).

Update Personal Information | Change time off types and status views from the shift pull-downs. |
View Time Off of Others | View time off requests of other using the employee pull-down. This feature must be enabled by your administrator. |
Create Time Off Request | Click on New Time Off Entry and enter the type, dates and time of your time off request. |
9. Web Xpress Time Clock
Web Xpress Time Clock allows you to check-in, check-out and perform health and welfare checks against shifts much like a standard clock or swipe in system. From the Web Xpress Main Menu, click on eClock - the eClock screen will be shown.
eClock Features:
Item | Description |
Check-In | Record a check-in time for a shift. |
Check-Out | Record a check-out time for a shift. The shift must already be checked-in. |
Safety Check | Record a health and welfare check for a shift. The shift must already be checked-in. |
After a clock feature is selected, you will be presented a list of shifts to select from. To record a check-in, check-out or safety check, click the confirm button.
Additional options may be available depending on the configuration and features your administrator has licensed and enabled.
