Overview


Welcome to Voice Xpress. This guide reviews the various functions performed with Voice Xpress and details the steps required to perform them.
All possible functions in Voice Xpress are outlined in this guide. Your organization may not have licensed all the features found in Voice Xpress or you may be restricted from certain functions by your administrator. If you are unsure which functions you should have access to, contact your system administrator for more details.

1. Accessing Voice Xpress


Your system administrator should have supplied you with a login ID and password to use when accessing Voice Xpress. You should also know the phone # Voice Xpress is configured to use.
Note: If you forget your password, you will need to contact your system administrator to reset your password.

2. Voice Xpress Key Map


The following is a layout of the Voice Xpress functions. You can use this to reference how to get to each function you need to perform.

3. Changing Your Password


  • Log into Voice Xpress using your ID and current Password.
  • From the main menu, press 7 for Setup Options.
  • Press 1 and enter and confirm your new password when prompted.


4. Checking In for a Shift


  • Log into Voice Xpress using your ID and Password.
  • From the main menu, press 1 for Check-In, Check-Out or Perform a Safety Check.
  • Press 4 to check-in for a shift.
  • If required select the appropriate shift or create new shift.
  • Press 7 to confirm your check-in.


Note: You may select shifts for check-in up to 12 hours before (early check-in) and up to 12 hours after (late check-in) the scheduled start time of a shift.

5. Checking Out of a Shift


  • Log into Voice Xpress using your ID and Password.
  • From the main menu, press 1 for Check-In, Check-Out or Perform a Safety Check.
  • Press 5 to check-out for a shift.
  • If required select the appropriate shift.
  • Press 7 to confirm your check-out.


Note: Checked-in shifts may be selected for check-out up to 24 hours after the recorded check-in time.

6. Performing a Safety Check


  • Log into Voice Xpress using your ID and Password.
  • From the main menu, press 1 for Check-In, Check-Out or Perform a Safety Check.
  • Press 6 to perform a safety check.
  • If required select the appropriate shift.
  • Press 7 to confirm your safety check.


7. Reviewing or Confirming a Schedule


  • Log into Voice Xpress using your ID and Password.
  • From the main menu, press 3 for Schedules and Availability.
  • Press 1 to review your schedule.
  • Enter the date range of shifts you want to hear.
  • If required follow prompts to confirm the shift.
  • Follow prompts to listen to the next scheduled shift.


8. Entering a Timesheet


  • Log into Voice Xpress using your ID and Password.
  • From the main menu, press 2 for Time Entry.
  • Press 1 to enter time.
  • Enter the date of the shift.
  • If required enter the job code.
  • Enter the start time.
  • Enter the end time.
  • If required enter the length of the break.


9. Enter a Time Off Request


  • Log into Voice Xpress using your ID and Password.
  • From the main menu, press 4 for Time Off.
  • Select Time Off Entry.
  • Select Time Off Period.
  • Enter date.
  • Confirm Time Off Request.


10. Stopping an Alert (Supervisors Only)


  • Log into Voice Xpress using your ID and Password.
  • From the main menu, press 5 for Supervisor Options.
  • Press 5 to Respond to an Alert
  • Enter the Alert ID.
  • Press 1 to Confirm.


11. Record Customer/Site Name for Playback (Administrators Only)


  • Log into Voice Xpress using your ID and Password.
  • From the main menu, press 8 for Administrator Options.
  • Press 1 for Customer/Site Profiles.
  • Press 1, 2 or 3 to Add, Update or Delete the profile.
  • Enter eTime Xpress Customer ID when prompted.
  • Enter eTime Xpress Site ID when prompted.
  • Speak the name and press # when finished.


12. Record Employee Name for Playback (Administrators Only)


  • Log into Voice Xpress using your ID and Password.
  • From the main menu, press 8 for Administrator Options.
  • Press 2 for Employee profiles.
  • Press 1, 2 or 3 to Add, Update or Delete the profile.
  • Enter eTime Xpress Employee ID when prompted.
  • Speak the name and press # when finished.
