Components

Celayix is comprised of multiple components or modules. The minimum requirements for each component are described here.

These are the requirements as of September 2022.

Configurations

Each module operates in one or more modes:

  • web browser on your computer
  • web browser on your mobile device
  • app on your phone
  • app on your tablet
  • a Citrix-based program accessible from a Windows or Mac computer

Only the items shown with a Y are supported. Any other combinations are not supported.

Web Browsers

The primary scheduling app, as well as supervisor and employee apps, are web-based. Additional web-based apps may be deployed over time.

The supported browsers are the latest versions Firefox and Chrome, on Windows, Mac OS and mobile devices. Other browsers are not supported (for example, NOT Internet Explorer, Edge, Safari, Opera, etc).

Recommended bandwidth is Broadband Internet speeds of at least 10 Mbps download (faster is better).

Citrix

In order to run administrative functions, the computer must be able to run the Citrix Workspace to access the admin program hosted on AWS (Amazon Web Services). Citrix Workspace's requirements can change over time. Refer to the Citrix website for up to date information.

Computer

OS: Due to the system requirements for Citrix Workspace and the browsers, Windows must be version 10 or later, and Mac OS must be 10.15 or later. Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1 are not supported.

OS requirements will change over time as the Citrix and browser requirements change.

Memory: At least 4 GB (more is better)

CPU: At least 2 CPUs (more is better)

Chromebook is not supported.

Mobile apps

Celayix Team Xpress and Time Xpress apps are available for iOS and Android. Users who cannot use the apps can use the equivalent web-based function. Only versions released in the past two years are supported.

Apple iOS must be version 10.x or later. Android must be version 7.0 Nougat or later.

An internet connection is required.

For Team Xpress, permissions include location services, files, photos and camera.

Firewalls and other security

The users must be able to access all sub-domains at https://*.celayix.com
