Shift Notifications

When an employer offers you a shift, you will receive a shift offer notification. You can receive notifications in three ways:

  • App notification

  • Text message

  • Email

There are some example notifications below. You can change control whether you get text message and email notifications in your preferences. See this article for details:

Changing Your Notification Preferences

Accepting the Shift

When you receive a notification for a shift that you would like to work, log in to the app to accept it.

When you log in, you will see your dashboard. Click on "Schedule":

Then click on "SHIFT OFFERS":

If you want to accept the shift, select the checkbox next to the shift, then click on "Accept offer". There could be more than one shift listed. You can select and accept more than one shift at a time. Make sure you have selected the correct shifts before you accept.

Wyrk operates on a first-come, first-served basis. The first person to accept a shift will be assigned to the shift. If you are the first to accept the shift, you will see the success message below.

View the Shift in Your Schedule

Once you have accepted a shift, you will see it in your schedule. See Viewing Shifts in Your Schedule.

Viewing Your Offers

You can view your previous shift offers and their status by clicking on "SHIFT OFFERS" and "Your offers status". Click on "Completed" to expand the list and see the offers you have previously accepted:
