At Wyrk, we take the quality of our service seriously. If you accept a shift, you are expected to work it. If you accept a shift and don't show up, you are preventing one of your fellow Wyrkers from working that shift and getting paid, and you are causing our customers great inconvenience.

We do understand that sometimes things change. If you accept a shift and circumstances change and you can no longer work it, please let us know! You can let us know by:

  • Using the drop shift button in the app (see below).

  • Sending an email to support@wyrk.io.

If you drop a shift less than 48 hours before the start of the shift, this may affect your ability to accept shifts in the future. If you don't show up for a shift without letting us know beforehand, you will not be allowed to accept any more Wyrk shifts.

Dropping a Shift in the App

You can drop a shift in the app up to 48 hours before the start of the shift. To drop a shift, click on the schedule button, then click on the shift that you want to drop.

In the shift details, you will see the drop shift button.

Click on drop shift. In the reason box, you need to enter the reason for dropping the shift.

Click on request drop. You should see a success message. The shift will no longer be displayed in your schedule.
