Team Xpress - Shift Bidding

This guide will show Team Xpress users how the shift bidding process works.

Introduction

Shift bidding is a feature that needs to be enabled by a Celayix system administrator. You will only see the options mentioned below if your company has chosen to enable this option. If you would like to use this feature but do not see it in your Team Xpress - please contact your supervisor.

 

Invites

The shift bidding process is initiated with invites. These are sent by either email or SMS. You will receive a message similar to what is shown below.

Making your bids

Once you have been invited you can bid on shifts using Team Xpress. Login to Team Xpress and head over to the Shift Bidding section. You will see the shifts which you can currently bid on.

 

Select the shifts you wish to bid on, and click Submit bid. Please make sure to take note of the bidding deadline. Once that deadline arrives you will no longer be able to bid on the shifts.

Once you have submitted bid(s) you should see a message telling you it has been submitted.

Now you must wait, and see if your bid is successful. Keep in mind other people may have also bid on that shift so you are not guaranteed to get it.

 

Reviewing your bids

After your bids have been submitted you can reveiw them under “Your bids status”

Here you can see bids in progress, and also you can see completed bids. You can use this to check on the status and determine if your bid was successful.

If your bid was successful then you should see the shift in your schedule.
