Sometimes you may want to select multiple shifts. There are a few ways to do that.

Click and Drag

You can select multiple shifts using click and drag. You have to click on a cell, not on the row or column heading. If you click and drag then do it again, the first set of shifts will be deselected. To click and drag multiple times and keep the original selection, hold down the control key.

Right click on the column or row heading to select or deselect all shifts in a column or row.
