Overview
These release notes provide information on the latest features added to Celayix’s industry leading scheduling and time & attendance software.
Version
These notes are for version 8.0.11, released in April 2019. The notes cover the changes made since version 8.0.10 was released in March 2019.
Functions and Modules
Celayix products and modules are available in many different configurations. These release notes may describe features that you have not configured or do not have access to.
Reference numbers
The descriptions may include Celayix internal reference numbers. For example, ET-1234. You may refer to these if you have questions about the features and changes.

New and Updated Features
Schedule Xpress
Shift Drop & Replace
NEW: Employees can now use Team Xpress to drop a shift, indicating they do not want to work the shift. The shift can remain assigned to the employee, or the employee can be removed from the shift immediately. The dropped shift can be automatically published for self-scheduling or shift bidding, or a new employee can be assigned manually by the scheduler. Optionally, a time off record can be created to prevent the employee from picking up another shift for the same time frame as the dropped shift. Notifications are issued to the scheduler when shifts are dropped.
Shift Bidding Auto-Assign
NEW: After a bidding deadline has passed, Schedule Xpress can automatically assign shifts to the bidders, according to a method that you specify.
The scheduler is notified of the bid results, in the Schedule Xpress notification area. The text of the message is configurable.
Integration with Guard Center
NEW: Schedule Xpress can now work with the guard tour product from Guard Center. Contact Celayix or Guard Center for more information.
Single Sign-on
NEW: Schedule Xpress users can now take advantage of Single Sign-on (SSO) services used at their organization. It has been implemented on ADFS and OneLogin. Contact Celayix for more information. The login page has been redesigned for this purpose.
Performance upgrades
UPDATED: The speed of Schedule Xpress has been improved. Scrolling large pages (tall and wide) with many shifts is faster.
eTime Xpress
Staff Assignment report
NEW: A new scheduling report is available. It is a streamlined version of the Schedules by Employee report.
QuickBooks payroll export
NEW: Payroll export is now more compatible with the Zed Axis tool for QuickBooks Online. Contact Celayix for more information.
Keep me logged in
NEW: eTime can be configured so that it automatically logs you in to eTime based on your Citrix account. This is useful when a Citrix ID is dedicated to a specific user.
Team Xpress
Dropping a shift
NEW: Team Xpress users can drop a shift, which is a way of indicating that they do not want to work a shift. If enabled, the shift will have a Drop Shift option. Depending on the configuration, the shift may remain assigned to the employee, or the employee may be removed from the shift immediately.
Formerly, dropping a shift was known as Cannot Work.
Bulk confirm
NEW: Team Xpress users can confirm all their unconfirmed shifts at the push of a button.
Single Sign-on
NEW: Team Xpress users can now take advantage of Single Sign-on (SSO) services used at their organization. It has been implemented on ADFS and OneLogin. Note that this is for the desktop version of Team Xpress only. The login page has been redesigned for this purpose.
Bug Fixes
All parts of the Celayix suite have received performance and stability improvements, functional upgrades, user interface enhancements, and bug fixes in response to user feedback. A few highlights are noted here.
Schedule Xpress
If errors are encountered when saving shifts, there is a three-dots menu at the right edge of the screen to show the correction options. The dots are now easier to see.
Miscellaneous display glitches have been corrected.
Adjustments to the Spanish and French translations.
Team Xpress
Time off requests could not be submitted under some configurations. Fixed.
